The time of grand premieres is coming!
Three Films from the Warsaw Film School to Premiere at the Prestigious 65th Krakow Film Festival!
The recently announced program of the Polish Competition for short narrative and documentary films includes three of our titles:
“Qaher”, directed by Palestinian filmmaker Nada Khalifa, tells the story of Jason, a Palestinian returning to his homeland after a long emigration. He wants to visit his newborn nephew and bring him a traditional gift: a young goat. However, the family reunion in a country torn by occupation turns into a mission full of obstacles. The film is an exceptionally successful graduation project by Nada Khalifa, marking the completion of her studies in the international directing program at the Warsaw Film School.
“Neverlandex”, written and directed by Agata Kapuścińska, a second-year directing student, is a film about an extraordinary father-son relationship—full of love, but also manipulation and deep secrets. Will an attempt to break free from a sterile life lead thirty-year-old Piotr toward independence? Find out at the screening in Krakow!
“Jump!”, directed by Michał Cysewski, is a documentary about a young girl who must give up her great passion—horseback riding. In its place, she begins exploring hobby horsing. The young documentarian, a second-year directing student at WSF, follows her journey into this new sport.
We’ll soon be publishing interviews with the female creators and the male creator, but for now, check out our YouTube channel, where the film trailers are already waiting for you!
